Is ****** feeding vegan?

  • jeffma807 posted: 22 Aug at 3:59 pm

Well, if you want to be “strictly vegan”, NO. Human ****** milk is an animal product, even if it is your own given of your own free will. But, if you want a healty baby maybe you can cheat a little…

You are right. It is a stupid question. Breastvfeeding is what your ******* were designed for. What difference does it make if it is “Vegan”.

As a human being, you can give consent for that. Not letting your baby drink ****** milk would be like a vegan refusing to kiss someone because of the fear you would accidentally ingest his/her saliva – yes, it’s still an animal product technically, but it’s consensual.

For the baby no, but maybe the baby does not want to be vegan. Keep in mind any authority on healthy babies will tell you it is in the best interest to breastfeed a child for at least the first year. If this is about you…. if you have a choice breastfeed. It is the best choice (unless there are medical reasons not to including if you have to take certain medications or if you are a smoker).

You may be a vegan but the milk you produce is tailor made specifically for your baby’s brain development. You can’t feed the baby vegetables at this stage. They can’t digest them. The FDA even agrees, here is the site.

Breast milk is natural and for a vegan the longer they can ****** feed the better. Vegans dont deny natural nurturing, it is completely normal.

Yes. You are right. It is a stupid question.

  • vampire_kitti posted: 04 Sep at 4:01 pm

it’s vegan because the milk is made specifically to feed your baby. cow’s milk is made to feed the cows baby which is why vegans don’t drink it.

  • eayrin posted: 05 Sep at 3:15 am

I would guess that it must be OK because i suppose the reasoning behind not eating milk as a vegan is that it is meant for the baby animals of which ever species that particular milk comes from. So surely your milk is meant for your baby. ****** feeding is very good for a baby and is encouraged by all health professionals so if you can ****** feed you should really.

  • Oona posted: 06 Sep at 2:57 am

It is necessary for your baby. A growing child shouldn’t be forced into a vegan diet.

  • ftmshk posted: 09 Sep at 2:22 pm

    Of course it is vegan.
No animal was harmed in any way to produce it, and it was not stolen from any baby animal.
Presumably you live a vegan lifestyle because you believe it is best for your body and/or your conscience.
Feeding your baby with your ****** milk is best for your body and your concience, and you will know that you are giving your baby the best possible start in life.
    Do it!!!!!! :-) :-) :-)

most female animals wether with 2 legs or 4 give of milk so how can u justify the difference between yourself & say a cat or cow or girafee etce we are all animals

I agree with ftmshk. Human ****** milk is produced for human babies. If you don’t ****** feed then the alternative is a product derived from cows milk which is definitely not vegan or a soya based product. If you don’t feed, then you are giving nature a slap in the face which wouldn’t seem to fit into my perceived idea of being vegan.

I’m not a vegan but my understanding is that being vegan means not eating or wearing a product derived from or taken from an animal. Your ****** milk is produced specifically in response to the fact that you have given birth so I can’t see how ****** feeding can possibly not be vegan.

Assuming that you are pregnant, I wish you luck with the impending arrival and hope that you derive as much pleasure from ****** feeding as I did. Stop getting so hung up and enjoy your baby – you’ll be finding plenty of other things to get hung up on so please just get on with giving your offspring the best start in life.
