i do it and it works great . i only ****** fed the first week then i started pumping and feeding him out of a bottle sometimes then at around 3 weeks i gave him formula and he loved it. It works great as long as you use the right ******* . i use playtex comfort latch because it is most designed like a real ****** . good luck dear. oh yea and first decise how long you would like to ****** feed for because once you start giving him formula you will stop pumping as often or ****** feeding and your milk supply will get low

I've ****** fed and bottle fed my 10 week old son. I nurse whenever we're at home, and I pump whenever I can. While I'm at work or when we go out, he gets formula and pumped milk. He's never had any problems and he transitions easily between the ****** and the bottle. Make sure ****** feeding is well established, though, before you introduce the bottle. Good luck!

Doing both is better than no ****** milk. Nursing is apart of what god made for us to feed our babies. As much as that you can give them the better. If your baby will not take to the ****** and bottle then choice. Either nurse all the time or pump and feeding them what you pump and the formula. It is not turn about mixing them. It will not make your baby upset. switching formulas will but not ****** milk and formula. When my baby was born so small, he needed formula in the hospital and I was nursing him when I could. Then when got home after 3 days I was nursing all the time. No he is 7 months and for a month now I have been nursing him all night and formula all day. He is fine. I did this with all 4 of my babies. They never had a problem. Just like I said getting as much ****** milk to them as possible is best. Try nursing all the time for 6 weeks. Then maybe try bottles if you want. That is a good thing to stick to. They also say the first 6 months of ****** milk improves their chances of a better life by so much! good luck and if you need help with nursing don't be afraid to ask at the hospital! God bless
