with my second son i breastfed during the day and formula fed at night because i found that the baby was more satisfied and slept better at night. also because i breastfed exclusively my first son and i was forever feeding him and now he is so fussy and doesn’t like any milk or dairy products. at least if you alternate feeds then the baby will already be used to different tastes and will benefit also from the breastfeeding

Of course you can. You may also want to pump your ****** milk and freeze it, you’d be surprised how much you can produce. Babies get the most medical benefits from colostrum in your milk which is only produced in the first couple of weeks after delivery. My 2nd was ****** first then ****** and bottle. He was perfectly healthy. Not to mention it is nice when someone else can get up in the middle of the night to feed her. Good Luck

I had a very good experience combining ****** feeding and bottle feeding. It was nice to not be the ONLY one who could do the feedings. I did this with my first born daughter for the first 8 months. Formula from 8-12 months and whole milk from a sippy cup over the age of 12 months. She was an easy baby and transitioned well.

I did both. I did ****** feed exclusively for the 6 weeks that I was on maturnity leave, but after that he had no problem with both. The first time that he did receive formula though he had massive diahrea! So be prepared. But after that, he was fine and as long as it was food, did not care. The only time he received formula in the first 6 months was when I had not pumped enough ****** milk while I was at work for the day. But, I did have friends who did not produce enough, so would ****** feed first and then top off with the bottle if the baby was still hungry. Do whatever you feel comfortable with and talk with your doctor on their recommendation. Each baby is different, so good luck!

Doing both is better than no ****** milk. Nursing is apart of what god made for us to feed our babies. As much as that you can give them the better. If your baby will not take to the ****** and bottle then choice. Either nurse all the time or pump and feeding them what you pump and the formula. It is not turn about mixing them. It will not make your baby upset. switching formulas will but not ****** milk and formula. When my baby was born so small, he needed formula in the hospital and I was nursing him when I could. Then when got home after 3 days I was nursing all the time. No he is 7 months and for a month now I have been nursing him all night and formula all day. He is fine. I did this with all 4 of my babies. They never had a problem. Just like I said getting as much ****** milk to them as possible is best. Try nursing all the time for 6 weeks. Then maybe try bottles if you want. That is a good thing to stick to. They also say the first 6 months of ****** milk improves their chances of a better life by so much! good luck and if you need help with nursing don’t be afraid to ask at the hospital! God bless

I did with bothof my kids. I jsut didnt think they ere getting enough with breastfeeding. I did pump more then anything to make sure they were getting plenty. But if I could ****** feed I did bottle feed.

I’ve ****** fed and bottle fed my 10 week old son. I nurse whenever we’re at home, and I pump whenever I can. While I’m at work or when we go out, he gets formula and pumped milk. He’s never had any problems and he transitions easily between the ****** and the bottle. Make sure ****** feeding is well established, though, before you introduce the bottle. Good luck!

i do it and it works great . i only ****** fed the first week then i started pumping and feeding him out of a bottle sometimes then at around 3 weeks i gave him formula and he loved it. It works great as long as you use the right ******* . i use playtex comfort latch because it is most designed like a real ****** . good luck dear. oh yea and first decise how long you would like to ****** feed for because once you start giving him formula you will stop pumping as often or ****** feeding and your milk supply will get low
