I never used the first one. The second one I have. When you buy the bags, you just need to make sure they're closed tightly or they could leak if they tip over, sometimes they don't sit very sturdy - especially if they're really full. I also use the Avent plastic containers with lids. They don't ever tip & you can stack them on top of one another. The only bad thing is you have to make sure the lids are twisted on well, sometimes they seem all the way closed when they're not.

Buy the book entitled, The womanly art of breastfeeding' by Le Leche League. This is essential for any breastfeeding mother especially a first time mum who worrying incase she has problems. You're going to do the best thing ever for your baby and give it the best start in life you can. You will do a good job, just relax and remember that breastfeeding is the most natural thing ever and is the way Gods intended us to feed our young and on the off-chance you do have problems theres lots of help available out there! Le Leche League are a very good source of information about all aspects of breastfeeding and related things.

Ps - ****** milk storage bottles are best. For one, theres not much waste (plastic bags etc) and for two you can keep topping them up and freezing. They dont have to be special bottles just normal baby bottles with lids will do but please remember that bottle feeding the formula may give the baby 'nipple confusion', where he/she gets confused about *******. Its much better to try to feed expressed breastmilk in a shot cup or small cup. The muscles used for sipping/cup feeding are the same muscles used to breastfeed. And expressing breastmilk is better left til breastfeeding is well established if possible. Good luck and i hope all goes well!

I used the ziploc bags. It work just fine. The stores will always come up with ways for folks to spend what they don't need to.

My son was breastfed exclusively. No formula. And I used it when he started cereal too. One ziploc 3pk got me through until he was 2 when he stopped.

Take advantage of the lactation consultants available to you at the hospital and throught the city. Breastfeeding is a lot of work but it is SOOOO rewarding!!!!

A few tips (all of which I did with great success):

Drink Raspberry leaf tea. Helps before and birth, after birth and to boost lactation. (also helps with afterbirth pain and cramps later on.)

After birth, Nettle Leaf tea, brewer's yeast (sprinkled on your cereal) is great for lactation.

Buy the Lansinoh now!!!! (link below.)

May your labor be swift and you and your baby healthy and strong!!!!

both look like good products. don't worry about latching problems- the lactation consultants in the postpartum wards are great!

but if you are looking into freezing large quantities of breastmilk you will need a high-quality pump in order to get out enough milk to even store. i highly recommend the double-electric medela brand.
